I made a stew from some lamb liver and I thought it was awesome.

I had it with spaghetti for lunch ...

Yummy! And then ...

And for dinner, with rice!! :)

Good times to remember. And I wasn't done with the stew yet (to be continued ..)

Guang #30 - A Sunday Well Spent?

I spent today trying to study. Not sure how much I got into my head, but I tried.

Oh, just so that I remember. The sermon in church today was awesome! David and Goliath :) Didn't know there was so much to the story.

Guang #29 - True or False?

Princes Street in Edinburgh at about 9am. It's pretty empty and the shops haven't opened.

So what is Guang doing in the middle of nowhere so early in the morning?

Well, I went for a talk in church called True or False.

It's basically 3 experts trying to convince you, based on the evidence we have that the Bible is real.

I'm not going to share what I thought about the talk here, but it was worth spending almost a whole day there.

Guang #21 - Out With The Old, In With The New

My old and new shoes that look super alike.

They're actually the same model and the same price and from the same shop in London.

I know ~_~" ... This is what you get from someone who doesn't shop much. I find something that works and stick with it.

I'm changing shoes because the threads on my old pair are totally gone. Makes it hard to run efficiently.

On another note, I'm in love with Nike Dart VII (that's the shoe model). It's comfy and it lasted me a year of cobblestone-filled Edinburgh walking.

P.S. It's my dad's birthday! So happy birthday, papa!

Mel#21 - Futsal!

And so i played futsal for the very first time today :)

My seniors organised a futsal outing for fun. 15 of us which formed 3 teams, of which we will switch after the winning team has scored 3 goals..

and with me being in an IT course, all of the others were guys except for me and Lemon D:

but thankfully they weren't rough. at least when I was playing.

Awesome experience. 

+ this sem we're going to having biweekly exercises with wednesdays scheduled for Badminton,

and Fridays for Futsal/Basketball~

A little stuff I want to add on the topic. You know how people always look up to doctors and think of them as heroes and all. The truth is that we're merely trying to prolong life. Death always wins in the end and when it's time to go, there's nothing much we can do. Now, it's not wrong to cry and all, but I'd think blaming the doctor for not doing anything, unless truly deliberate, is totally taking it too far. I don't know what sort of sticky situations I'll get myself into in the future when I start working, but that's what this rant is about. Trust me, I'd do anything in my power to save someone from dying, but the world is just overpopulated. (I'm joking, seriously!) I guess all these medical dramas are educational after all. Thumbs up for Scrubs! :)
